IVETE SANGALO



















Ivete Sangalo was born in Juazeiro, in a family of musicians.She began to sing when she was very young, and at school she used her free time to play the guitar.

She started, like most people, playing in little bars, and doing some shows in cities in Bahia, and in Pernambuco.In Juazeiro she was invited to open Geraldo Azevedo’s show.

In one “micareta” she met the producer Jonga Cunha, fouder of “Bloco Eva”.Ivete’s reing on “Banda Eva” was staeting.Now a days Ivete Sangalo, in her solo career, reaches the number of 6.500.000 CD’s sold sofar.
