Biography

Beyoncé Gisele Knowles is 24 years old. She was born on April 9th, 1981 in Houston, Texas. Her nicknames are Mothe, B or JuJu. She is the main singer in the group, she is the producer, and writes some songs. She has brown hair and eyes. Her favorite celebrity and Singer is Stevie Wonder. She likes the rappers Mos Def, and WyclefJean, and the movie director SparkLe. Her favorite holiday is Thanks Given Day and her favorite book is “Waiting to Exhale “.




















She is allergic to some products, so she prefers L'Oréal Paris oil’s. She would like to record a song with Nelly Furtado or U2. She loves South food and Popeye's Fried Chicken.
Her mother is an inspiration for her and her mother teaches her never give up from her dreams.

“The best thing of being a celebrity is to inspire people to make their dreams come true” she says.
The singers Beyonce Knowles and LaTavia Roberson met each other when they were nine years old at 1990 in Houston, Texas during an audition, and then became friends. Her father became her manager. Two years later, when they participated in the “Stars Search” program, they asked for Kelly Rowland to get in the group. Little time before they closed the group with LeToya Luckett, in 1993. The group’s name was inspired in a chapter of the bible book “Book of Isaiah”.


First Album
The quartet worked everywhere they could. They opened shows for SWV, Dru Hill and Immature. After 5 years a big Record got interested in them. Columbia launch their first single in 1997, “Killing Time”, that got in the movie sound track of “Men in Black”. Next year, was the launch of “Destiny’s Child”, with the production of Wyclef Jean and Jermaine Dupri. The first hit was “No No No” that was one of the top hits of R&B and sold 1 million copies. The success of the following singles, “With Me (Part II) ” and “With Me (Part II)”, doubled the sells

Solo carriers
After Christmas album, they announced that they would dedicate themselves to their solo carriers. Michelle Williams did her first record, “Heart to Yours” and after 2004, with a big success, launch her second album Gospel "Do You Know". Kelly Rowland "Simply Deep" that had success with "Dilemma", with participation of the rapper Nelly, "Stole", "Can't Nobody" and "Train on a Track". But the one who became a phenomenon was Beyonce. She began in the movie beside Mike Myers in “O Homem do Membro de Ouro” and started to sign only as Beyonce. The album solo, “Dangerously In Love” in 2003, was a great success, with her father’s help, Mathew Knowles, who was the group´s manager, and always gave more attention to Beyonce.











The return : Destiny Fulfilled
In 2004, the singers were back in another album. The seventh album of their carrier, with the name "Destiny Fulfilled", that had the songs: "Lose My Breath", "Soldier", "Cater 2 U" and "Girl". This record sold more than seven millions copies around the world.
