Herbert Vianna - the leader of “Paralamas do Sucesso”
















Herbert Vianna was born in Paraiba, but when he was 5 years old he went to Brasilia. There he listened to rock and the reggae because he loves it. So he and his best friends formed the band called Paralamas do Sucesso. In a festival Paralamas had a problem. Where is Vital? (the battery guy) So Bi Ribeiro played in his place (after that Vital left the band). Then Herbert made a song for Vital called “Vital e sua Moto”. It was a big hit and everyone loved this song and the band began to be successful.

Herbert and his group are now at the top. But on February 4th 2001 Herbert and his wife(Lucy) suffered an accident of ultralight (Herbert loves to ride ultralight). Lucy died and Herbert was in a coma for six months. His fans prayed for his life and after a long time of exams Herbert got back to his carrer.
















Now he can’t walk but his song and Paralamas do Sucesso continue to be a great band.He is my idol because he never desist of his life and continue it. He lost the love of his life (Lucy) and he can’t walk. But he loves his life and his band. And I like it.
