Avril Lavigne
Avril Ramona Lavigne (born on September 27th, 1984) is a Canadian pop rock singer, Juno Award-winning singer-songwriter and occasional actress. She was originally known for her "skater punk" person, but has kept that image in favour of a more sophisticated and feminine style. Her two albums, Let Go (2002) and Under My Skin (2004), have top charts in several countries.
Avril, daughter of Judy Lavigne and John Lavigne, was born in a religious family of middle class. She had a calm childhood, but super protected by her parents. She sang since child. In the beginning, she only sang in the church, but soon she started to present in expositions. Her mother used to call her Little Song Bird.
Certain time, won the competition of a radio to sing with Shania Twain, a modern singer of country. Lavigne liked the taste of success and decided that she would be a singer, definitively.
Avril abandoned her small city to try the luck as singer in the city of New York. Her only skill impressed her producers, and some music that she had been proposed had gotten the same reply of the young adolescent:
" don’t like to go to the stage and sing a music wrote by another person.”
She likes South Park, and likes pizza. She suffers from asma and hypoglycemia. Her skatist style was one of the most imitated in 2002.
Since July 15th, 2006, Avril Lavigne is married with Deryck Whibley.
